Three Ways to Balance Your Life in 2015
Now that the holidays are over it’s back to school. Even though you’d had some time to relax it’s hard not to get caught back in the cycle of stress! Here are a few tips to help you balance your life all year long!
- Make Time for Yourself - This is tough one! Somehow you have to get your homework done, go to all your extra curricular activities and not to mention hang out with your friends! Still it’s necessary to give yourself some time to recharge. It’s okay to tell your parents that you need some time alone or that you can’t take anything else on right now! You need YOU time!
- Surround Yourself with People Who Make You a Better Person – Sometimes it hard to see which people in your life create more stress. When you’re hanging out with your friends, check in with yourself. Do the people around you make you feel like a better, happier person or does it stress you out? It’s not easy, but making sure that you friends make you feel good about yourself is so important!
- Make Sure to Eat Right – Eating pizza and cookies everyday can make you feel good at first, but overtime it can literally weigh you down and make you feel more stressed out! Do your best to eat lots of fruits and veggies, but it’s okay to indulge once in a while too! It’s all about balance!
